Wrexham Women went top of the Genero Adran League Premier after thrashing Swansea City 7-1 away.

The victory saw Wrexham replace Cardiff City at the top of the table, and the Red Dragons will clinch their first-ever top-flight title if they beat the Bluebirds at the Racecourse on Sunday.

Ava Suckley’s brace had Wrexham 2-1 up at half-time, with Stacey John scoring in-between for the Swans.

Faye Knox scored twice after the break, once from outside the box, while Katie Barker also netted a double with Mariam Mahmood the other scorer.

Sunday’s possible title decider kicks off at 5pm and is live on the BBC iPlayer and S4C online.
