The Barclays Women’s Championship title race is now down to the top two, while Blackburn Rovers and Portsmouth edged nearer securing their status.

London City Lionesses title challenge in the Barclays Women’s Championship was strengthened with a 4-1 victory away to Southampton on Friday.
They were three up by half time, as Freya Gregory twice set up goals for Izzy Goodwin, who later laid the ball of for Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah to rifle home.
Molly Pike cut inside and finished well to reduce the deficit by the hour mark, only for Goodwin to soon complete her hat-trick when heading in a cross from Boye-Hlorkah.

Birmingham City are back to within two points of leaders London City, after coming from behind to beat Durham whose own title hopes are now over.
Mollie Lambert opened the scoring, Simone Magill quickly replying for City by heading in from a Rebecca Holloway corner.
Magill scored a crucial second for the hosts with ten minutes remaining of the 90, Emily van Egmond then securing the win.
Charlton were pegged back by Newcastle in a 1-1 draw, Gloria Siber had found Jodie Hutton to give the Addicks a first-half lead but Shania Hayles levelled from a 65th-minute penalty given for a foul on Beth Lumsden by Charlotte Newsham.
Portsmouth are three points above the relegation place after a draw at Bristol City, where Ella Powell’s opener was cancelled out by Pompey’s Sophie Barker on 20 minutes.
Blackburn Rovers also edged closer to safety, with a goalless draw away to bottom side Sheffield United.
