Rugby Borough took over at the top of The FA Women’s National League Northern Premier, while Oxford United won the top-two clash in the South.

Nicola Potts’ first-half brace set up Rugby Borough for the win over Liverpool Feds, moving them to the top of the table.

Huddersfield Town slipped to second and only rescued a draw at Stoke City in stoppage time, as Olivia Edwards’ 89th-minute goal for the Potters was answered by Aimee Kelly.

Monique Robinson bagged a brace in West Brom’s 3-0 victory at Derby, lifting them to third.

Norwich City held off a Loughborough fightback, with Holly Kennard adding to Grace Riglar’s double, to leapfrog Lightning into sixth.

Peterborough’s Poppie Brown scored the only goal of the game at Middlesbrough, whose Olivia Watt was sent off five minutes later, just before the break.

Hull drew with Boldmere after Erin Nicholson replied to Maia Clark’s third-minute goal.

Kate Wiseman’s 12th-minute goal was enough to give Oxford United a big three points away to second-placed AFC Bournemouth, marking a sixth straight win that puts them five points clear.

Exeter pulled off a win at Fulham in third, with Charlotte Whitmore scoring a crucial goal for City, whose Fearne Slocombe was dismissed in added time.

Plymouth suffered a sixth loss in a row despite going ahead through Shana Dolbel, as Anele Komani, Kelci Bowers, and Ellie Head hit back for Real Bedford.

Portsmouth played out a goalless draw with Lewes in front of almost 1,000 fans, while Swindon versus Wimbledon also finished without a goal.

Cheltenham drew 2-2 with Hashtag, Chloe Snook netting a double for Town but Natasha Snelling equalising for United.
