Belgian international Amber Tysiak has completed her move from West Ham Women to FC Union Berlin for an undisclosed fee.

Tysiak, who has 47 caps for her country, joins the team currently sitting ninth in the Frauen Bundesliga table.

She joined the Hammers from OH Leuven in January 2023, making 58 appearances and scoring four goals in her three-year spell at West Ham.

Tysiak told fc-union-berlin.de: “Union have made enormous strides in women’s football in Germany in recent years. After talks with the club officials, it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to be part of this development.”

Jennifer Zietz, Union’s director of women’s professional football, added: “Amber is a tall, composed centre-back who has already competed against the best players in Europe. She will bring stability, experience, and presence to our defence. We are confident that she will quickly settle in with us and help the team.”
