MK Dons Women have signed experienced forward Kim Farrow from fellow FA WNL Division 1 South East side Cambridge United.
She scored 17 goals in 21 appearances for Northampton Town as the Cobblers finished runners-up in Division One Midlands last season. This term, she netted four times for Cambridge, starting 10 of the 15 matches she played in.
Her career has also included playing for Watford in WSL 2 and several seasons with Leicester City, as well as a previous spell at MK Dons.
Farrow told mkdons.com: “The girls have been really welcoming, and I’ve known Steve [Healy] for years, so it will be nice to finally work with him as a player.
“It was an unexpected move for me, but it’s been in my mind since the start of the season.
“It’s been fantastic to see the journey of this club from afar, I’m really excited to now be a part of it for the second half of the season!”
Head Coach Stephen Healy said: “As a football club, we are absolutely delighted to secure her services and bring Kim back to the club.
“She brings a wealth of experience in and around these divisions, and she will be an asset to the club, with her attributes, as well as her leadership skills.
“We’re very excited and cannot wait to get her playing.”
