Wrexham Women have signed England Youth International Millie Davies from Hofstra Pride.

After coming through the academies at both Manchester United and Bury, Davies helped Manchester City win the FA Youth Cup in 2018, made her WSL debut at the age of 18 three years later and gained European experience in a Champions League Round of 16 tie

After leaving City, Davies made the move to Hofstra University in New York. Playing for the Hofstra Pride, the 23-year-old won the 2022 CAA Championship, and in 2024 received All CAA First Team Honours.

Davies has represented England at youth level and has played against the likes of Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Upon signing for the Adran Premier champions, Davies said: “I’m super excited and I’m very happy to be here. I was really happy when I heard about the interest from the club and I like the ambition that the club has.

“All the girls here are great. I knew a lot of them prior to joining and that helped in making the transition a little easier. I’ve been friends with Lucy Farrell for years so it’s good to be back with her.

“I’m definitely an attack minded player. I’m also a creative player so I can help on that side with the team.”

Head Coach Jenny Sugarman added: “Millie is an exciting addition to the squad, with her development pathway at Man City, England youth teams and Hofstra in the NCAA.

“She is technically strong, with a great left foot and is positionally flexible with nice attacking intent. After spending a week with us in preseason we could see how much she will add to the group on and off pitch.”
