Group A3 – Portugal 0-3 Belgium, Spain 2-1 England

Spain won the group decider with England, Clàudia Pina coming off the bench to bag a ten-minute brace in reply to Alessia Russo’s opening goal. Portugal are relegated following the home defeat by Belgium, for whom Justine Vanhaevermaet struck first and Tessa Wullaert netted twice including a penalty.

Group A4 – Sweden 6-1 Denmark, Wales 1-4 Italy

Sweden hit Denmark for six, featuring a hat-trick from Stina Blackstenius. Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Filippa Angeldahl and Lina Hurtig also found the net, Janni Thomsen having got one back for the Danes. Italy were four up by the break away to Wales through Elena Linari, a Cristiana Girelli double and Sofia Cantore, Jess Fishlock scoring an outrageous 35-yard consolation goal late on.

Group B1 – Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-1 Northern Ireland, Poland 3-0 Romania

Poland won the group by an eight-point margin, Ewelina Kamczyk getting the first goal against Romania, Paulina Tomasiak adding a couple with one from the spot. Northern Ireland got the point they needed in Bosnia and Herzegovina to go into the promotion play-offs, Simone Magill with their goal.

Group B2 – Greece 0-1 Türkiye, Republic of Ireland 1-0 Slovenia

Slovenia are promoted to League A for the first time despite losing the group decider to Ireland, as Carla Ward’s side had needed a four-goal victory to overtake them but could not add to Saoirse Noonan’s effort. Ebru Topçu missed a penalty for Türki̇ye in Greece but Kader Hançar got the only goal by half time.

Group B3 – Finland 1-1 Serbia, Hungary 0-0 Belarus

Serbia sealed their first promotion to the top tier with a draw in Finland, helped by an 84th-minute own-goal. Hungary and Belarus are both relegated after their goalless draw.

Group B4 – Albania 1-2 Czechia, Croatia 2-0 Ukraine

Relegated Croatia ended by getting off the mark with victory against group winners Ukraine. Ten-player Czechia struck two very late goals to win in Albania and finish level on points with the top side. Lucie Bendova saw red by half-time but Eva Bartonova and Michaela Khyrova turned it round in the dying minutes.

Group C1 – Faroe Islands 1-2 Slovakia, Gibraltar 0-4 Moldova

Slovakia completed a perfect campaign as Ludmila Matavkova grabbed an 88th-minute decider away to the Faroe Islands. Gibraltar were left without a point after conceding four times in the first half to Moldova and being shown a late red card.

Group C2 – Andorra 0-0 Malta, Georgia 1-2 Cyprus

Malta were held to a goalless draw in Andorra but it was enough to secure them promotion. Cyprus took second spot with three points in Georgia.

Group C3 – Kazakhstan 1-3 Luxembourg, Liechtenstein 2-2 Armenia

Luxembourg are up to League B after winning the group with a 3-1 success in Kazakhstan, who were in contention themselves and scored first despite a very early dismissal. Debutants Liechtenstein got their first point and it would have been all three but for a late Armenia equaliser.

Group C4 – Lithuania 0-1 Montenegro

Montenegro came out on top in the group decider away to Lithuania, with a second-half winner.

Group C5 – Bulgaria 0-1 Estonia

Estonia claimed their first win with a stoppage-time goal in Bulgaria, who had been reduced to ten before the interval and missed a 90th-minute penalty.

Group C6 – Latvia 2-2 Kosovo

Latvia and Kosovo shared four first-half goals, as the former earned promotion and the latter go into the play-offs as one of the two best runners-up.

The draws for the finals and promotion/relegation play-offs will be made on Friday 6 June at 12pm UK time, with the two-leg ties starting 22 October.
