Rangers Women beat SWPL leaders Glasgow City 1-0 with a late penalty, while Celtic moved level on points with second-placed Hearts.

Hearts 1-2 Hibernian
Partick Thistle 2-3 Celtic
Rangers 1-0 Glasgow City
Hamilton Academical 2-3 Aberdeen
Motherwell 5-1 Montrose

Katie Wilkinson’s stoppage-time penalty for Rangers handed Glasgow City their first defeat in 21 league games this season, as her side moved within five points of the leaders.

Hearts’ title hopes took a hit at home in the Edinburgh derby with Hibernian, who grabbed an 89th-minute winner. Jess Fitzgerald’s opener for Hibs was cancelled out by Georgia Timms, only for Rosie Livingston to restore the advantage late on from distance.

Celtic required a 94th-minute Kelly Clark goal to take all three points at Partick. Clark and Maria McAneny had earlier put the Hoops ahead twice, with Erin Rennie and Olivia King replying, the latter at the end of the 90.

Millie Boughton’s brace capped a 5-1 result for Motherwell over Montrose, whose Kaela McDonald-Nguah had earlier equalised.

Hannah Stewart scored Aberdeen’s decisive late third goal for a 3-2 victory at Hamilton.
