The top four in the Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship all won, with one game remaining before SWF’s national leagues split into a top six and bottom five for the remaining fixtures.

A first-half Rebecca Murray goal was enough to give Bonnyrigg Rose all three points in Port Glasgow, with Morton missing a penalty on the hour mark which would have provided the equaliser.

Falkirk remain top after beating Forfar Farmington 3-1 in Angus while Renfrew beat Armadale Thistle 2-0 to stay second and Rossvale enjoyed a strong second half to defeat Stenhousemuir 3-1 at home.

This means a 4-1 victory for Ayr United at Inverness lifts them up to fifth in the table, guaranteeing them top-half football.

Barclays League One leaders Elgin City survived a Glenrothes Strollers fightback to win 2-1 in Fife and extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points. St Mirren move second after a hard fought 2-1 win against Airdrie CC while Queen of the South were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Cambusdoon.

Inverurie Loco Works moved into sixth position after an 88th-minute winner from sub Sofia Ross gave them a 3-2 home win over Dunipace, denting the Denny’s side’s title push. Westdyke also gave themselves a chance on top six football with an 8-0 thumping of Dunfermline Athletic in Aberdeenshire.

In the regional SWFL, Edinburgh Uni Thistle stay top in SWFL East with a 3-2 win over Bayside, while Caithness moved to the top of the ScottishPower Highlands and Islands league with a 18-0 demolition of Nairn St Ninian.
