Pride Park rounded off a memorable season in style to remain unbeaten as Derbyshire Ladies League champions with a 7-1 victory against Matlock Town on Sunday.
The title was wrapped up at the end of April with three games to spare after a 4-1 win at second-placed Castle Donington.
Sunday’s game was the finale to an incredible season for The Pride, who completed the campaign having dropped only two points out of a possible 54.
Displaying a remarkable degree of consistency, they extended an unbeaten run that began in March last year to 24 league games.
