
England will learn their opponents for the 2026 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup Group Stage when the draw is held on Friday, 15 May.
The Young Lionesses secured their place in this year’s tournament after finishing third in their group at the 2025 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship last summer, joining France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, with Poland qualifying as hosts.
China, Japan, holders North Korea, and South Korea qualified from the U-20 Asian Cup. Ghana, Nigeria, and debutants Benin and Tanzania came through the African U-20s tournament. CONCACAF is represented by Canada, Mexico, USA, and Costa Rica. The South American U-20 Championship sent Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and for the first time, Ecuador, while New Zealand are joined by Oceania rivals New Caledonia for their debut.
The twelfth edition of the tournament runs from 5 to 27 September in Poland, with matches at Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź and Sosnowiec.
