Portsmouth Women have announced the loan signing of Rania Oukriss from Tottenham Hotspur.
Oukriss joined Spurs’ academy before moving up to their PGA side and also took part with the first team in the World Sevens Tournament at the end of last season.
The England Under-19 international now joins Portsmouth on a short-term loan deal that runs until the end of December.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder received her first international call-up in September this year.
She came off the bench to provide an assist in the European qualifiers against Switzerland, before scoring an early goal versus Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pompey head coach Jay Sadler told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “We’re grateful to Tottenham Hotspur for the opportunity to bring Rania in on a short-term loan.
”She’s an exciting young forward who can play across multiple attacking positions, giving us valuable cover and depth as we head into a busy period of fixtures.”
“We’re looking forward to working with her and helping her continue to develop.”
