
Norway Women recorded a 3-1 victory over Brazil in Friday’s friendly internationals, while Malta stunned Croatia with a late turnaround.
Norway defeated Brazil 3-1 in Cádiz, Spain, aided by a brace from Spurs-bound Signe Gaupset. Mariza equalised in between, but Ada Hegerberg sealed the win with a penalty.
Belgium beat Switzerland in Spain, where Justine Vanhaevermaet’s opener was cancelled out by Alisha Lehmann before Tine De Caigny’s decider.
The Netherlands scored twice in the space of three first-half minutes through Chasity Grant and Lynn Wilms, with Portugal’s Andreia Faria replying before half-time, as the Dutch won 2-1.
Australia scored three times in the last 20 minutes or so to seal a 5-0 win over New Zealand. Amy Sayer and Hayley Raso had them two up at halftime, Ellie Carpenter and Kyra Cooney-Cross then adding a quick pair of goals, before Katrina Gorry’s stoppage-time strike was followed by a missed penalty from Steph Catley.

Poland edged Slovenia with a Weronika Zawistowska goal, Malta came from behind late on to defeat Croatia 3-2 with the winner scored by Maria Farrugia.
Finland drew 1-1 with Austria in Spain, as Emma Koivisto’s first-half goal was cancelled out midway through the second period by Lisa Kolb.
