Man Utd Women edged Liverpool 1-0 to go level on points with them in the Barclays WSL.
Julia Zigiotti Olme put United ahead early with a strike from 20 yards after intercepting Khiara Keating’s ball out from the back.
Phallon Tullis-Joyce made a double save from Cornelia Kapocs and the follow up from Beatta Olsson, to keep the hosts ahead.
Jess Park hit the crossbar, and Keating tipped the ball around the post as Andrea Medina struck the rebound.
Medina had another chance right at the end of the first half, but Keating managed to smother the attempt.
Jenna Clark made a quick couple of crucial interceptions for Liverpool before not making the most of a headed opportunity at the other end.
Liverpool produced a number of other chances, but all were dealt with by Tullon-Joyce.
