Man City Women thrashed West Ham to go top of the Barclays WSL, while Everton held Chelsea.
Chelsea 1-1 Everton (Att: 5,651)
Manchester City 5-0 West Ham United
Chelsea took the lead just before the half-hour mark when Katie McCabe’s cross was nodded back across goal by Lucy Bronze, allowing Sandy Baltimore to head home.
The advantage was short-lived, as a ball in from Yuka Momiki deflected off Bronze for an own goal.
Bronze then struck the crossbar with a header but it remained level at the break.
Maz Pacheco headed wide for the visitors when completely unmarked, while Courtney Brosnan saved a rare second-half Chelsea effort on goal from Keira Walsh.
The draw moved the Toffees above Arsenal and level on points with Brighton in sixth.
Manchester City took full advantage of their title rivals’ slip-up with a big win to go top by two points.
Aoba Fujino hit the post for Man City, but Khadija Shaw made a first-half breakthrough from a Carlotta Wamser pass.
Shaw got her second shortly after the interval with a header from a Lauren Hemp cross, which went in after Constance Picaud-Inconnu tipped it onto the crossbar.
Fujino was denied by the woodwork again before finding the net with a solo effort.
Iman Beney came off the bench to quickly score the fourth goal, with Shaw then completing her hat-trick after she was played through by Risa Shimazu.
