Portsmouth Women Face a Big Clash with Oxford United

Portsmouth Women sit third in the FA WNL Southern Premier Division ahead of a showdown with leaders Oxford United

While Pompey have only conceded four goals in eight games and lost just once, Oxford have let in just three goals in nine matches, dropping only two points and averaging over three goals scored per fixture.

Fulham sit four points behind the leaders, with a game in hand, and are home against Cheltenham Town.

Norwich City face Liverpool Feds at Carrow Road in the Northern Premier Division, while Rugby Borough could extend their lead at the top with a visit to bottom-side Hull City.

Fylde are four points short of Division 1 North leaders Leeds ahead of hosting Bradford City, while United travel to Durham Cestria.

With just a point between the top three, Division 1 Midlands sees a clash of first and third as Leafield take on Notts County, while second-placed Barnsley host Kidderminster.

The Division 1 South East title race is just as tight, as leaders Actonians head down to Saltdean, London Bees host Luton, and QPR visiting Cambridge United.

Moneyfields would halve Bridgwater’s lead at the top of Division 1 South West if they beat Keynsham Town.

Bridgwater United are meanwhile playing their FA WNL Cup first-round tie against Tottenham Hotspur U21s, with the winners set to host Chelsea U21s. Middlesbrough face Real Bedford for the right to host Norwich City in the second round.

Huddersfield Town welcome Wythenshawe in the FA WNL Plate 1st Round, with Derby County set to face the winners. Sporting Khalsa take on Chester Le Street, with the victorious side next home to Lye Town.

Lye play their Women’s FA Cup 1st Round tie against Peterborough United, with the reward being a home match against Rugby Borough next Sunday.
