London City Lionesses have the chance to leapfrog Man City Women in the Barclays WSL table this weekend as third place takes on second.

London City – without defeat in five – are three points behind unbeaten Manchester City ahead of hosting them, while leaders on goal difference – Chelsea – visit Charlton Athletic in the later kick-off.

Everton entertain fourth-placed Manchester United, whom they trail by just a couple of points before their Saturday lunchtime clash.

Arsenal ended a wait for a second victory last time out and welcome Aston Villa, who have maximum points from their last two outings.

Tottenham Hotspur look to halt a three-match losing streak when away at Birmingham City.

Brighton have two wins in the last three games and face a Crystal Palace whose single victory came on the opening weekend.

West Ham are just above the bottom two and host a Liverpool side two points and two positions better off.

The Subway Players Cup Group Stage continues with Watford facing Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon, while Durham take on Newcastle United in a local derby on Sunday at noon, with both sides having lost all three matches so far.

Southampton host Leicester City, whom they drew 2-2 with away in BWSL2 last week, and Wolverhampton welcome Bristol City after going down 4-2 on the road to them in the league seven days earlier.

Elsewhere, Sunderland meet Sheffield United, and Nottingham Forest take on Burnley.
