Colombia international defender Jorelyn Carabali has left Brighton Women to sign for NWSL expansion side Boston Legacy.

Capped over 40 times for her country, she joined Albion in the summer of 2023 from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro, making 37 appearances for the Seagulls and scoring one goal.

Seagulls’ Head coach Dario Vidosic told brightonandhovealbion.com: “Jorelyn has been a valued and popular player on and off the pitch and will be missed, but this is a great opportunity and we wish her all the best for her next chapter at Boston Legacy.”

Carabalí, who joins the NWSL newcomers on a two-year contract with a club option to renew, told bostonlegacyfc.com: “For me, the NWSL is one of the top leagues in the world, and joining a club like Boston and being part of building a new history in 2026 fills me with pride and excitement.”
