Charlton Women have signed attacking midfielder Katie Lockwood from Glasgow City on a deal through until 2027.
She had been with the SWPL side since 2024, following spells with Hibernian and Hearts, as well as KIF Örebro in Sweden and Apollon in Cyprus.
With Apollon, Lockwood won the Cypriot First Division and Super Cup, while at Hearts she was Player of the Year for 2023–24 and helped them finish runner-up in the Scottish Women’s Cup.
Lockwood told charltonafc.com: “I am buzzing to be here, it’s a new challenge for me and I am really excited.”
“I have a lot of experience from the different countries that I have played in, so I am hoping that I can bring that here to Charlton and to the league this year.”
“I have only been in the door a few days but it is clear to see what Karen [Hills] has built this year with her staff and her squad, there is a real buzz around the place and I am really excited to be a part of it.”
