
Hearts Women beat Rangers to move two points clear at the top of the ScottishPower SWPL, while Glasgow City climbed into second place.

Hearts held on to edge Rangers 2-1 after Lauren Wade forced an own goal from the unlucky Jodi McLeary in first-half stoppage time, and Carly Johns fired in from a tight angle. Calliste Brookshire pulled one back for Rangers, but only in the dying minutes.
Emma Brownlie gave Glasgow City a first-half lead at Partick Thistle with a diving header from Mebae Tanaka’s cross. Midway through the second half, it was 2-0 when Linda Motlhalo’s effort was deflected into her own net by Addie Handley.
Hibernian edged Celtic 1-0 at Meadowbank Stadium, with a 53rd-minute Eilidh Adams penalty to leapfrog them into fourth spot in the table.

Kilmarnock 0-2 Spartans
Queen’s Park 0-1 Boroughmuir Thistle
Spartans won 2-0 away to Kilmarnock to cut their lead to four points, as Rachel Murchie and Izzy Young scored second-half goals.
Third-place Boroughmuir Thistle scored the only goal at Queen’s Park through Emily Arthur, to move three points ahead of the Spiders.
Dundee United drew their midtable match with Gartcairn, who cancelled out Lyla Marnie’s opener after the break.
Season 2026/27
The Scottish Women’s Premier League has confirmed that the fixtures for the 2026/27 season will be released on Friday, 26 June at 12 noon.
The 2026/27 ScottishPower Women’s Premier League and ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 will kick-off on Sunday, 16 August 2026.
