Harpenden Town and Hutton are promoted to the Eastern Regional League Premier after winning Division 1 North and South titles respectively.
EASTERN – Harpenden Town and Hutton promoted to Premier
Premier – One win from three games will see Luton Town become champions, after they beat Bowers & Pitsea 3-0 while title rivals Royston Town lost 2-0 at home to Stevenage. Cambridge City kept up their survival hopes with a Faith Harrison hat-trick at St Albans City, Wroxham took the points 2-0 at Watford Ladies Development. On Tuesday, Stevenage play Haringey Borough at Cheshunt FC and St Albans host Luton at Clarence Park.
1 North – Thetford Town had a walkover against Mulbarton Wanderers on Wednesday, Harpenden Town were confirmed champions with a similar outcome against Whittlesey Athletic. AFC Dunstable went second with a 2-0 result at Wootton Blue Cross, Histon were held 2-2 by visitors Stevenage Development for whom Ruby Sellek scored twice, Mulbarton Wanderers edged Real Bedford Reserves by the only goal.
1 South – Hutton’s Daisy Canny scored three times in a title-winning 7-1 result over Hertford Town, as Wormley Rovers defeated second-placed Southend United 3-2. Chelmsford City are third after their four unanswered goals at Frontiers, Toby Ladies won 3-1 at Romford Town Flyers.
EAST MIDLANDS – Top two in goalless draw
Premier – Runners-up Chesterfield Ladies beat Mansfield Town 4-0 on Tuesday, then drew 0-0 when hosting champions Sheffield FC on Sunday.
1 Central – Chesterfield FC rose three places to finish fifth with a 5-0 victory at Buxton.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Aylesford host Bognor in title decider
Premier – Dorking Wanderers were held 3-3 at home by Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday, Newhaven ended Saltdean United’s mathematical title hopes with a 2-1 defeat of them on Wednesday, then sank Haywards Heath Town 7-0 while Barking drew 1-1 with Saltdean.
1 North – Chloe Logie got the only goal as leaders Brentford won away to Denham on Tuesday, United lost 5-1 at Leatherhead on Sunday with Cassie Brown getting a treble. Bromley had a narrow 2-1 win at AFC Whyteleafe to retain slim hopes of the title, Richmond & Kew beat Richmond Park 5-1 with four goals for Charlotte Close, while elsewhere at ended Actonians Reserves 1-4 Ashmount Leigh, Dulwich Hamlet Reserves 1-1 Hackney.
1 South – Bognor Regis Town were 4-1 victors away to a now relegated Three Bridges but must win away to leaders Aylesford on 4 May to take top spot from them. Saltdean United Development’s title hopes are over after a 0-0 draw with Hastings Unitedm while Welling United beat Herne Bay 3-1.
NORTH EAST – Handsworth clash with Brunsmeer to decide title
Premier – Chester le Street Town’s walkover against Hull United has them level on points with leaders Bradford City and holding a game in hand after the Bantams were held 2-2 at Alnwick Town. Spennymoor Town’s Eva Mysleyko got their decisive third goal in a 3-2 victory at Sunderland West End.
1 North – Champions Thornaby finished with a 1-0 win at Washington, Chester le Street Amazons edged Consett with Rebecca Ward’s goal and Gateshead beat Bishop Auckland 2-1 as the latter were left in last place. i2i International Soccer Academy had a 3-2 victory at Redcar Town while it was 1-1 between Wallsend BC Reserves and Hartlepool United.
1 South – Brunsmeer Athletic hit hosts York City Development for six, leaving them requiring a draw at title rivals Handsworth on 11 May to win the Division. Altofts took sixth place after defeating Leeds Modernians 4-0.
NORTH WEST – Wythenshawe complete dominant campaign
Premier – Wythenshawe’s Olivia Dixon scored four times during a 5-1 result at Fleetwood Town Wrens, which saw them end top by a massive 19 points from Darwen, as Mancunian Unity missed a chance to take second spot from them by losing 2-0 at home to Bury.
1 North – Accrington overran Hindley on Thursday with hat-tricks for substitutes Grace Hindley and Amy Rusyn, before a 1-1 draw at Preston North End in which Stanley sub Maisy Dooley was dismissed. Radcliffe host Accrington on Tuesday.
1 South – Chester were 5-0 winners over Litherland REMYCA on Wednesday, beating Wirral Phoenix to go third on Sunday. Mossley Hill Athletic are up to fourth with a 2-0 success at Ellesmere Port Town, FC St Helens thrashed Runcorn Linnets 9-1. Wigan Athletic play Runcorn at Ashton Athletic FC on Wednesday.
SOUTHERN – Ascot do the double
1 North – Penn & Tylers Green’s sub Ellie Ludgate-Williams scored twice for a 3-1 victory at Slough Town, which meant they finished second ahead of Ascot United Reserves.
1 South – Fleet Town beat Wimborne Town 4-1 but must defeat Bursledon on 4 May to clinch the title ahead of Havant & Waterlooville. Bursledon’s Isobel Pouncy hit a hat-trick in 20 second-half minutes for a 3-0 result at QK Southampton.
League Cup Final – Ascot United came back from a goal down at the break to beat Winchester City Flyers 3-1 and lift the Cup.
REGEN ARABLE SOUTH WEST – Leading pair set for crucial clash
Premier – Pucklechurch Sports beat AEK Boco 3-0 on Wednesday but lost 4-3 at Sherborne Town on Sunday. Torquay United saw off Forest Green Rovers with a spot-kick to cut the lead of top side Marine Academy Plymouth whom they visit next week. Bishops Lydeard substitute Holly Ambler got a couple in their 4-2 win at Poole Town, Frampton Rangers returned from Ilminster Town 2-1 victors.
1 North – Bath City were held 2-2 at home by St.Vallier in midweek and lost 2-1 at Stockwood Wanderers on Sunday, with Katie Whitmarsh bagging a brace off the bench.
1 South – Yeovil Town are up to third following a 7-1 defeat of Weymouth, coupled with Helston Athletic’s 3-2 result over Weston super Mare.
WEST MIDLANDS – Hednesford Town end hope of one title rival
Premier – Port Vale beat Burton Albion 4-2 at Vale Park on Thursday, aided by a Manuela Delle double but lost 2-1 at home to Coundon Court for whom Jessica Lundie scored both. Lye Town lead the table by four points from Kidderminster Harriers but from two games more, after a 2-1 victory at Shrewsbury Town. Leek Town sub Sydney-Marie Gillan got a treble as they netted ten at Knowle, Solihull Sporting drew 1-1 with Coventry Sphinx.
1 North – Hednesford Town took a title rival out of the race for top spot, defeating AFC Telford United 3-0 to leave Walsall FC as the only side who can catch them.
1 South – Crusaders defeated Droitwich Spa 3-1 to cut Redditch Borough’s lead at the top to four points. Halesowen Town are third after a 5-1 win at Bromsgrove Sporting, while it was three apiece between Long Itchington and Hereford Pegasus.
