Ella Jones bagged six goals for Connah’s Quay Nomads to take her tally to 17 in just five league games this season.

A weather-hit programme in Wales included Bute Energy Welsh Cup progress for Llandudno, 3-1 over lower league Wrexham Foresters. But they had to come from behind, responding to Morgan Churchill’s early goal through Jennifer Haynes and a brace from Lily Whitefoot.

Cardiff City cruised through their second-round tie played midweek, showcasing their divisional advantage with a 14-0 win over Trefelin. Fiona Barry and Amy Long both netted a hat-trick.

Ella Jones scored six of Connah’s Quay Nomads’ 10 goals against Berriew, as they maintained their perfect record at the top of Adran North.

Felinheli earned a point against second-placed Flint Town United with late goals from Llywela Edwards and Katie Midwinter, cancelling out earlier strikes by Ruby Hastings and Rosie Hughes.
