Celtic Fend Off Hibernian Fightback in the Womens Scottish Cup

Celtic secured a spot in the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup Quarter-Finals with a 3-2 win on the road against Hibernian.

Emma Lawton and Morgan Cross scored to give Celtic a 2-0 lead, Tiree Burchill and Eilidh Adams hit back for the hosts but Maria McAneny grabbed the decider for the Hoops.

Katie Wilkinson, Mia Macaulay, and Quinty Sabajo scored in the first half for Rangers against Kilmarnock, while Eilidh Austin, Laura Berry, and Kim Shin-Ji took the final tally to 6-0.

Glasgow City matched that against Queen’s Park, as Lisa Forrest, Natalia Wróbel and Emma Brownlie all bagged two goals each.

A Rebecca McAllister strike paired with a hat-trick from Erin Rennie saw Partick Thistle put out Boroughmuir Thistle, while Dundee United defeated Bonnyrigg Rose 5-1 helped by a Rachel Todd double.
