Scotland Women’s Caroline Weir scored three times in a 6-0 win over Israel in World Cup qualifying League B.

Scotland struck twice in quick succession inside 20 minutes, Erin Cuthbert burying the ball laid back to her by Kathleen McGovern, and Caroline Weir firing home from the edge of the box.

After the interval, Weir was played in by Cuthbert to score, then completing her hat-trick from the penalty spot.

Cuthbert was involved again, setting up Lauren Davidson to fire home the fifth goal, Jenna Clark then finding Kirsty Hanson to make it 6-0.

The same two sides meet again on Tuesday, as Scotland bid to stay top of the table.
