
Brazil came from behind to beat Japan in a friendly international, Panama defeated Bolivia 5-1 aided by the award of four spot-kicks.
Japan went ahead against Brazil right at the start of the second half, when a neat move saw Kiko Seike finish from Aoba Fujino’s cross. The unfortunate Rion Ishikawa conceded an own-goal from a corner to level the scores, then on a break in the 79th minute, Kerolin set up Jhonson for the decider.
Panama were awarded a remarkable four penalties in their 5-1 win over Bolivia, in which Shayari Camarena scored in the first minute. Marta Cox missed from the spot but did convert a late penalty, Riley Tanner and Karla Riley were also successful, Erika Savatierra pulling a goal back before Tanner doubled her tally in added time.
Scotland U-23s came from behind to beat the Icelandic counterparts 2-1, as Bayley Hutchison quickly cancelled out the opener from Bergdis Sveinsdottirr and Jennifer Smith grabbed an 88nd-minute winner.
Germany U-23s also got a late winner against the USA through Tuana Mahmood, after their initial lead from Sophie Weldauer was soon replied to with a Korbin Albert spot-kick.
Among the other U-23 internationals, Matlida Vinberg got the only goal after the hour mark, as Sweden edged Italy.
