England Women Under 19s Make Strong Start to EURO Campaign with 6 0 Win Over Estonia

England Women Under-19s started their UEFA WU19 EURO campaign with a 6-0 win over group hosts Estonia.

Lauren Smith’s team made a strong start, as Erica Parkinson added to her early goal with a second just before the half-hour mark.

Vera Jones struck as England went i three up at the break, May Cruft further extending the lead less than ten minutes after the restart.

Lauryn Thompson came off the bench to convert a penalty following a foul on Chloe Sarwie, then doubled her tally to complete the scoring at 6-0.

England WU19s second group game is against Greece on Saturday morning, 11am BST.
