Portsmouth Women have signed former Everton defender Annie Wilding on a two-year contract, following her departure from Sheffield United.
Pompey boss Jay Sadler told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “We’ve been keen to add competition in defensive areas and Annie fits the profile we’ve been looking for, so we’re really happy to welcome her.
“She’s calm in possession and possesses strong physical attributes. Shes had a good schooling at Everton, and gained valuable senior experience in the league last season.
“From recent conversations she is a really good character, with a maturity beyond her years. We’re confident she’ll be a great addition to the group.”
