Durham sign experienced forward Jade Pennock, who spent the past year with Sporting JAX in the USL Super League.
Pennock has played in the WSL and second tier for Birmingham City, from whom she had a loan spell with Central Coast Mariners as they won Australia’s A-League championship.
She helped Doncaster Rovers Belles win WSL 2, earned the league’s Player of the Season award, and scored 40 goals for Sheffield United over a three-year spell.
Pennock told durhamwfc.co.uk: “I was ready to come back and play in England again and I’ve played against Durham lots – it’s a difficult place to come.
“I like that it’s a tight-knit squad and it’s definitely somewhere I’ll fit in.
“I want to fit in with the team, play well, bring what I can bring to the team and contribute.”
