
Beth Mead is set to leave Arsenal Women when her contract runs out at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Over nine seasons with Arsenal, she racked up 263 appearances and netted 86 goals, leaving with an impressive haul of one WSL title, three League Cups, a FIFA Champions Cup, and a UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Mead joined th Gunners from Sunderland in 2017, having become the WSL’s youngest Golden Boot winner at the age of 20.

Director of Women’s Football, Clare Wheatley, told www.arsenal.com: “Beth has made a huge contribution to our football club over nine years, and will go down in history as one of our best forwards and a legend of the club. Beth is such a special person and will always be welcome at Arsenal. I know our supporters will join me in wishing Beth happiness and success in her future endeavours.”
The announcement of Mead’s departure follows earlier ones today from Arsenal of Victoria Pelova and Laia Codina.
Former Ajax midfielder Pelova made 87 appearances and scored six goals for the Gunners, while ex-Barcelona defender Codina played 58 times and netted four goals.
