North Shields Athletic won the Northumberland League Women’s Premiership, while Heddon United and Dunton UTS topped Divisions 1 and 2 respectively.
North Shields won 19 of their 21 league matches in becoming back-to-back champions, finishing 10 points clear at the top of Morpeth Town, who themselves had an eight-point margin over third-placed West Allotment Celtic.
For North Shields, it was a double-winning season after a 3-2 victory over Prudhoe Town in the League Cup final on 10 May at Croft Park.
Heddon United claimed the Division 1 title by a single point over Cramlington Town, with Whitley Bay SC 20 points further back in third, a position still under threat from Heaton Hawks Reserves.

Dunston UTS won 17 of their 18 matches to take the Division 2 title by nine points from Blyth Spartans, with Gateshead Rutherford Reserves finishing third in the table.
