Ridgeway finished with an identical record to Bournemouth Poppies in the battle for the Dorset Women’s League title but won it convincingly on goal difference.
Both teams won 12, drew 3, and lost 1, but Ridgeway had a massive advantage with a goal tally 35 better than their rivals.
The Poppies saw off third-placed Longfleet Lionesses 4-2 on the final day, helped by an Olivia Bessant brace, but the leaders got the win they needed, 7-1 away to Cobham Sports.
While Ridgeway improved on a fourth-place finish last term, it was a remarkable debut campaign for their title rivals.

Bessant had also scored twice as Bournemouth earlier lifted the League Cup with a 3-0 victory over Wimborne Town Development in the final.
The league also has a Recreational Division, where the champions were Swanage Town and Herston, with Weymouth Development close to clinching the runners-up spot, wanting for two more points from as many games.
