
Boldmere St Michaels beat Cheadle Town Stingers 3-0 in the FA Women’s National League play-off for promotion to the Northern Premier Division.
Boldmere got off to a great start with a seventh-minute goal, Ridhi Ruparelia’s through ball found Keeley Davies, who slotted the ball through defenders and goalkeeper.
The Mikes doubled their lead before the half-hour mark, with Annie Ackroyd crossing and Laura Cooper’s effort going in off the underside of the bar.
Natasha Bailey came off the bench and quickly set up a third goal, her delivery leading to a second for Cooper off the woodwork.
