Wales Women Cruise to a 4 0 Victory Over Albania

Wales Women are joint top of their World Cup Qualifying League B Group 1 with Czechia after a 4-0 defeat of Albania in Wrexham.

Mared Griffiths swept the ball across the box, and Hannah Cain met it to slot home the opening goal.

Goalkeeper Rajmonda Spahiu dropped Cain’s cross, and Elise Hughes took full advantage to double the lead.

Soon after the interval it was 3-0, Griffiths with the cross and Rhiannon Roberts heading it in at the far post.

Cain doubled her tally before the hour mark, finishing off the delivery from Lily Woodham.
