Brighton Women pulled off an Adobe WFA Cup Quarter-Final victory over Arsenal.

Jelena Cankovic almost fired Brighton into a very early lead, but Daphne van Domselaar tipped her effort over the crossbar.

Chiamaka Nnadozie pulled off a point-blank save at the other end from Smilla Holmberg.

Madison Haley stretched to fire Brighton in front from Fran Kirby’s pass early in the second half.

Caitlin Hayes headed home from a Kirby corner to double the Seagulls’ advantage after the hour mark.

Alessia Russo was denied a late penalty for the hosts as they bowed out of the Cup by two goals to nil.
