Arsenal Women are through to the UWCL Semi-Finals as a 1-0 loss at Chelsea still gave them a 3-2 victory on aggregate.

Sjoeke Nusken missed a clear early chance for Chelsea, while Alyssa Thompson was also off target with two good opportunities.

After the break, Sam Kerr saw her shot tipped over the bar by Daphne van Domselaar.

Stina Blackstenius headed over the top as Arsenal threatened to seal the tie inside the last 20 minutes.

Blackstenius did later head home but the goal was chalked off for offside.

Van Domselaar parried a strike by Lauren James and Veerle Buurman hit the rebound against the post.

Nusken’s powerful header was then superbly turned onto the far post by the Arsenal goalkeeper.

The woodwork was also hit at the other end going into added time, Beth Mead this time the player denied.

Nüsken swept home a cross from Kerr with just 90 seconds left of stoppage time.

Blues boss Sonia Bompastor was sent off after receiving two yellow cards in quick succession.

Arsenal now await the winner from the tie between Lyon and Wolfsburg, which is completed Thursday night.
