
Stevenage Women have been crowned champions of the Eastern League, sealing their return to the FA WNL, while FC St Helens and Hashtag United Reserves have both win sixth-tier titles.
EASTERN – Stevenage Secure Return to the National League
Premier – Stevenage clinched the title with a 3-1 victory against Hutton, while Atletico London edged Royston Town 3-2 thanks to a Brooke Haylock hat-trick. Wroxham’s Rebecca Stephenson scored both goals at Bowers & Pitsea, Enfield Town finished in the bottom two despite a 0-0 draw with St Albans City.

1 North – Histon made it 19 straight wins with a single goal at Colney Heath. Hitchin Belles were the only home team to score, putting eight past Cambridge City as Jordan Rockall’s treble was matched by Marsha Glass in just 13 minutes. Dunstable Town’s Amy Leach scored both goals at Mulbarton Wanderers. Elsewhere, results were: Thetford Town 0-2 Biggleswade United, Fulbourn Institute Bluebirds 0-3 Real Bedford Reserves.
1 South – Hashtag United Reserves were confirmed as champions after a 5-1 defeat of Brentwood Town but can’t move up to the fifth tier as they’re not a first team. Chelmsford City, with a 3-0 win at Colchester United, instead make the move up, while Toby FC beat Wormley Rovers 2-0 in the other match.
EAST MIDLANDS – Loughborough Land Cup Final Berth
Premier – Gainsborough Trinity drew 1-1 with Mansfield Town to go level on points with fifth-placed Stamford.
1 Central – Nottingham Trent University sank hosts Melbourne Dynamo 7-0 to climb to the top of the table. Title-chasing Asfordby Amateurs got all three goals in 15 first-half minutes at Sherwood. West Bridgford capped off a rough day for the home sides, going down 4-0 to visitors Basford United.
1 North – Grimsby Town’s Bethany Wharton scored three times in a 5-1 win over Lincoln United Development, marking their 15th win in a row. Notts County Development finished with a goalless draw at Belper Town, who remain goal difference behind them with two games left.
1 South – Leaders Newport Pagnell Town defeated Dunton & Broughton United 5-2, but New Bradwell St Peter’s 4-0 victory at River City means they will overtake them if they win their four remaining games. Brackley Town beat Stanground Cardea Sports 2-1 to go level on points with them in their bid to escape the bottom two.
League Cup Semi-Final – Loughborough Foxes Vixens knocked out Anstey Nomads 4-0 and will face Mansfield Town in the final.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – 1,400 Watch Millwall Draw
Premier – Top side Brentford drew 2-2 with third-placed Dartford in front of a crowd of 323, while Millwall Lionesses were held 2-2 before 1,407 fans at The Den as Sutton United’s Bethany Humphrey levelled after 80 minutes. Newhaven were 5-3 winners over Ebbsfleet United, helped by a Lauren Empringham brace, and Aylesford edged Barking with a Becky Burnham goal.
1 North – Bromley are within four points of leaders Hammersmith with a game in hand after beating Hackney 7-0, helped by a Bethany Hull hat-trick. Camden Town defeated Ashford United 2-0, while Actonians Reserves claimed a 3-1 win at Soccer Elite Football Academy.
1 South – Molly Hill scored a hat-trick as Eastbourne Borough beat Ashmount Leigh 3-0 in midweek, moving just a point short of leaders Bognor Regis Town with three games in hand. Bexhill United drew 2-2 with Hastings United, while Montpelier Villa won by the only goal at Steyning Town.
NORTH EAST – Leeds Modernians and Handsworth Goalless in Top-Two Clash
Premier – Bradford City came away from Ponteland United as 2-0 victors, but Thornaby are still pursuing the top team after beating Brunsmeer Athletic 4-1. South Shields’ Jennifer Wootten grabbed an 89th-minute goal for a 2-2 draw at Alnwick Town, Ossett United edged past Spennymoor Town 1-0, and Sunderland West End picked up a rare win with a 2-1 result at Wallsend BC.
1 North – Birtley Town won 3-1 at Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves to go four points clear of i2i International Soccer Academy, who were held 0-0 at home by Washington but still have two games in hand. Gateshead Rutherford won 4-0 at Redcar Town, Park View put eight past Wallsend BC Reserves, and Berwick Rangers ran out 7-1 winners at Hartlepool United.
1 South – Leeds Modernians drew 0-0 with Handsworth to remain a point behind them in the title race with one game in hand. Lower Hopton edged Farsley 2-1 thanks to a Sophia Lyons decider, York City Development beat Ilkley Town 3-2, Rossington Main won 2-0 over Millmoor, and Altofts drew 2-2 with Sheffield Wednesday.
NORTH WEST – FC St Helens Promoted to Premier
Premier – Mancunian Unity had to settle for a 3-3 home draw with Tranmere Rovers, FC United of Manchester versus Bolton Wanderers was one apiece, and Bury’s Alex Speight struck twice for a 2-1 result at Crewe Alexandra.
1 Central – FC St Helens won the division with three games to spare, their success confirmed with a 3-0 defeat of third-placed Ashton Town.
1 North – Bolton Wanderers Reserves beat Preston North End 1-0 to replace them at the top, though with a narrow advantage and from one game more. Morecambe’s Yasmine Carswell bagged a brace as they came from two down to draw 2-2 at Blackpool. Haslingden’s Madison Purdy scored twice in a 3-1 success at Workington Town.

1 South – Nantwich Town edged past Manchester Laces 2-1, while Runcorn Linnets finished their fixtures in third place with a 6-1 win at Altrincham.
SOUTHERN – Denham and Farnham Maintain 100% Records
Premier – Wycombe Wanderers stayed well clear in pole position with a 5-0 result at Woodley United but can still be caught, with some sides having multiple games in hand. Winchester City Flyers won 3-2 at Southampton Women where Charlie Snelling scored the decisive goal, while AFC Portchester drew 1-1 at Beaconsfield Town. Reading scored seven without reply at Badshot Lea.
1 North – Denham United closed in on the title with a 6-1 victory over Tilehurst Panthers, their 15th straight win. Penn & Tylers Green won 1-0 at Larkspur Rovers to leapfrog them into second spot on goal difference.
1 South – Farnham Town have a dozen wins on the trot after a 3-1 result over Bournemouth Sports Reserves. Havant & Waterlooville scored big with a 5-0 win at Shaftesbury, while Wimborne Town were drawing 0-0 with AFC Stoneham. Andover New Street won 3-1 away at AFC Varsity, and Guernsey’s Ruby Smith bagged a couple in a 3-2 winning trip to Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
Shield Services Group SOUTH WEST – Forest Green Win Despite Red card
Premier – Forest Green Rovers won 4-1 at Saltash United, where Lashai McNama scored a hat-trick but teammate Freya Cooke was dismissed. Bishops Lydeard got off the mark as substitute Sophie Wood scored in a 1-1 draw against Pucklechurch Sports.
1 North – Corsham Town defeated Downend Flyers 4-1 to extend their lead, while Whitchurch and Royal Wootton Bassett Town played out a 0-0 draw. Mangotsfield United beat Gloucester City Reserves 4-2, helped by a Brooke Moore brace, and Stockwood Wanderers saw off Paulton Rovers by the same score.
1 South – Yeovil Town scored all three goals at Appledore, while Feniton beat Wells City 2-1 to move above them on goal difference.
League Cup Semi-Finals – Torquay United were pushed all the way by hosts Gloucester City before progressing 6-5. Poole Town triumphed 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 deadlock at AEK Boco. The final will be staged at Bishops Lydeard FC on 17 May.
Divisional Cup Semi-Finals – Bitton beat Bath City 3-1, helped by a Layla Soppelsa double, while Weston-super-Mare were 2-1 winners at Cirencester Town. The final is at Portishead FC on 6 May.
WEST MIDLANDS – Knowle Hit Title Rivals for Six
Premier – Lye Town won twice away in a week, with a 6-1 success at Burton Albion following a 4-0 midweek result at Coventry Sphinx. The latter score was matched by Coundon Court against Port Vale and Redditch Borough versus Alvechurch.
1 North – Title favourites Lichfield City scored all their goals after the break, with four coming from substitutes, to beat AFC Telford United 6-2. Second-placed Walsall had Olivia Wells sent off by half-time but still managed to see off Whitchurch Alport 3-0.
1 South – Knowle replaced Droitwich Spa at the top by handing them a 6-0 home defeat. Long Itchington’s Lauren Jones scored a couple in a 4-2 win at Crusaders, Leamington’s Linda Turner netted the only goal at Hereford FC, Halesowen Town put five past Kingfisher, and Redditch United drew 0-0 with Worcester City Reserves.
League Cup Quarter-Finals – Hednesford Town put out Rugby Town 2-0, while Coventry Sphinx won 3-1 at Shrewsbury Town even though they had Leonna McCook sent off.
