Ipswich Town Women added two more new signings before the transfer deadline: goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx from Juventus and Princess Ademiluyi on loan from Gotham FC.

Proulx, a Canadian international who was picked for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. joins on a deal until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.

She has won three senior caps for her country and was part of the Canada squad at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

After spells with Torreense in Portugal, Melbourne City in Australia, and Bay FC in the US, she moved to Juventus in the summer of 2024 and helped them win the Serie A title.

Proulx told itfc.co.uk: “Everything happened really quickly and I’m excited for this new adventure and a new experience. England is somewhere I always wanted to come and play so I’m excited to get things started.

“This is a great opportunity for me and I’ve been told great things about the league. I have good reflexes, am good at one-v-one situations and like to play with my feet. I like to think of myself as an aggressive goalkeeper.”

Sean Burt, Technical Director, said: “She’s an outstanding goalkeeper whose knowledge and composure will raise standards across the group. Her experience at the highest level will be invaluable, particularly in big moments, and she’ll play an important role both on and off the pitch.”

Former West Ham forward Ademiluyi joins on a deal which runs until December 2026.

She spent the first half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Charlton Athletic, then the second half on loan at Fort Lauderdale United.

Her 11 caps for England U-19s brought six goals, and she competed in the 2025 UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship.

Sean Burt added: “We’re delighted Princess has chosen to join us until December.

“She’s a completely different profile of striker to what we already have and will allow us to add a new dimension to our game. She’ll bring a different type of threat in the final third, which gives us more variety in how we can attack.

“Having already gained significant experience at WSL level and, coming from an elite environment in the NWSL, she arrives with a strong understanding of high-performance demands and that experience will be a real benefit to us as a group.”
