Bristol City Women sign Polish international Oliwia Woś from FC Nurnberg on a three-and-a-half-year deal, for an undisclosed fee.
The defender won the 2022/23 Swiss Women’s Super League title with FC Zürich Frauen and played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
She joined FC Basel in June 2024 and her strong form earned her a call up up to the Poland international team for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, as well as a move to 1. FC Nürnberg in June 2025.
Woś told bcfc.co.uk: “I’m really excited to be playing here it’s always been a dream for me to come to England and when the opportunity came, I didn’t wait long.“
Head Coach Charlotte Healy added: “We’re delighted to have got this deal to sign Oliwia over the line- we know she was well sought after by a number of clubs so we’re delighted that she chose to join our project.
“She’s strong, she’s aggressive and she has fantastic distribution. We’re delighted to add her to our group and I know the fans will love watching her play for us.”
