Charlton Athletic Women have announced the signing of Lizzie Waldie from SWPL club Hearts for an undisclosed fee.
She joins Karen Hills’ side on a two year deal until 2027, spending the last three seasons at Hearts.
The London-born defender spent three years at Crystal Palace prior to her move to Scotland.
She will link up with former team-mate and new recruit Katie Lockwood, having previously played together at Hearts.
Waldie told charltonafc.com: “I’m very happy to be joining Charlton. WSL 2 is a super competitive league and it’s a really exciting time to be apart of this club, I can’t wait to get started.”
