AFC Bournemouth Women Break Hashtag Utd Hearts in Added Time

AFC Bournemouth Women denied visitors Hashtag United a shock win in the FA WNL with an equaliser after more than 100 minutes of play.

Jessica Hennessy kept AFC Bournemouth’s unbeaten record intact by heading in the equaliser after 101 minutes. Ninth-placed Hashtag United had taken the lead against the leaders after 70 minutes through Emma Samways.

Real Bedford ran out 5-1 winners at Cheltenham, to go five points above them. Leyla O’Brien, Issy Bryant, and Scarlett Williams scored to give them a 3-0 lead at half-time. Williams grabbed her second, Town pulled one back, but Chloe Logie wrapped up the scoring, and the hosts had a player sent off in added time.

Georgia Walters scored the decider as Gwalia beat basement side Billericay 2-1, climbing out of the drop zone at the expense of AFC Wimbledon.

Boldmere crushed fourth-placed Barnsley Women 5-1 despite a goall first half, to move five points clear of Peterborough at the top of the table, but The Posh still have three games in hand. The Mikes goals came from Chidubem Arinze, Grace Gregory, Laura Cooper, Jannelle Starker and Ridhi Ruparelia.

Ella Brennan scored twice to help Stourbridge secure a 5-3 victory at Notts County after trailing 2-1, moving them three points clear of the relegation zone.

Kaye Haggett’s equaliser earned Worcester a point at Sutton Coldfield, whose Chloe Dann had struck first.

Division One North
Stockport County 2-0 Chorley

Jess Battle gave Stockport the lead three minutes after the restart, with Shauna Jein doubling the advantage, as fifth-placed County moved five poits ahead of Chorley.

Fulham 5-0 Actonians (Att: 139)
Milton Keynes Dons 3-1 Chatham Town

Fulham scored five against Actonians, with doubles from Ellie Olds and Jade Bradley, and one from Naomi Bradley. The Cottagers now have a four-point lead over Norwich City, from one extra game.

MK Dons have climbed two spots to eighth after defeating fourth-in-the-table Chatham. Amanda Chimbima, Maddie Pollard, and Erika Lempek scored for the hosts, while Amelia Woodgate pulled one back for Town in the last 10 minutes.

AFC Sudbury held third-placed London Bees to a goalless draw but are still at least four points from safety.

Moneyfields beat Ascot United with first-half goals by Bekah Tonks Shannon Albuery. They extend their lead at the top to four points, but Swindon have three games in hand.

Maidenhead’s Simone O’Brien scored a first-half brace, the second coming just after the break when Keynsham hit the post. Izzy Stockton made it 3-0 soon after the interval, with Angharad Beman pulling one back.

Marine Academy pulled off a 3-2 win at Portishead after conceding the first goal of the match.

Bournemouth Sports edged Worthing 2-1 with goals in the last quarter of the match from Isobel Weatherly and Freya Rolfe, Laila Malcolm pulling a late goal back for the Rebels.

All other fixtures were postponed due to frozen pitches.
