
Man Utd Women are to sign high-scoring Germany international forward Lea Schüller from Bayern Munich on a a contract until June 2029.
She played 125 times for SGS Essen, scoring at nearly a goal every other game, before moving to Bayern where her goal-scoring record was even better over more than 100 appearances.
Her goals helped Bayern win four Bundesliga trophies in a dominant five-year spell.
Schüller has been no less potent in front of goal for Germany, surpassing the 50-goal mark from around 80 games.
The forward has scored more than 100 goals for Bayern Munich, helping them to win four Bundesliga titles and the DFB Cup in her five-and-a-half year stay. Schüller has 82 international caps and has scored an impressive 54 goals.
Schüller told manutd.com: “From the first conversations that I had with Marc [Skinner] and the club, the ambitions of everyone here were very clear. I still have so much that I want to achieve in my career, and I know that Manchester United is the perfect club to join.
“I feel that the team’s style of football will really suit my game, I hope my qualities and experience can help us to achieve our aims both in England and in the Champions League.”
