Hinata Miyazawa has extended her stay with Man Utd Women by signing a contract that will keep her at the club until June 2029.

She joined United in September 2023 and was part of the team who lifted the FA Women’s Cup that season.

Miyazawa has made 67 appearances for the Red Devils, and over 50 for Japan, with whom she won the Golden Boot at the 2023 World Cup.

Hinata Miyazawa told manutd.com: “I am really enjoying playing football at Manchester United and I am really happy to be continuing my journey here.”

Matt Johnson, Director of Women’s Football, said: “We are really excited to have Hinata extend her time at Manchester United.

“She has become a critical component to the way we play. Her footballing intelligence and technical ability enables her and the team to control and dictate play from central areas.”
