Watford Women have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Safia Middleton-Patel on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
The Welsh international signed her first professional contract with United in 2023 and spent the second half of that season on loan with the Hornets.
She’s also spent time on loan with Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, and Coventry United.
Experiences with her parent club to date includes playing in the WSL and a Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
Internationally, Middleton-Patel represented her country a dozen times, playing at Euro 2025 and during an unbeaten run in World Cup qualifiers.
