Viviane Asseyi Signs New Contract With West Ham Women

West Ham Women forward Viviane Asseyi has penned a two-year contract extension.

The France international has committed her future by signing a new deal until the summer of 2028, and with 108 appearances to date, she holds the second-highest tally for the team since it became professional in 2018.

She has scored 32 goals for the Hammers so far and also has 17 assists to her name, since signing from Bayern Munich four years ago.

Asseyi said: “I’m really happy to sign a new contract with West Ham United. I feel at home here, I love the club and my family loves the club, so for me it was an easy decision to continue my journey here.”

“I want to play somewhere where I feel valued and where I can help the team to achieve more. West Ham has given me so much over the last four years and I want to continue giving everything back to the club.”

Head Coach Rita Guarino said: “I’m really pleased that Vivi has extended her stay with West Ham United.

“I have really enjoyed working with her since I arrived at the club. She is an experienced player who brings so much quality to our attacking play, and her goals and assists show the impact that she can have for the team.

“Vivi has been a consistent performer during her four years at West Ham and has built a special connection with the club and our supporters. She is an important player for us, both on and off the pitch, and I’m delighted that she will continue her journey with us here in east London.”
