Alloa, Blairgowrie and Stenhousemuir to host promotion / relegation play-offs between Barclays Scottish Women’s Leagues and Regional competitions.
The matches are all on Sunday 1 June and Indodrill Stadium in Alloa, which hosts the ScottishPower senior cup finals in May, has now been announced for two of the play-offs.
The first, which kicks off at noon, is for a place in the Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship.
Westdyke, who sit eleventh in that league and now cannot catch Morton above them or be caught by Hutchison Vale below them, face the runners-up in League One, which will be either Bonnyrigg Rose or Armadale Thistle, the two sides locked in a close title battle.
Then at 4pm on the same day, Giffnock – who will finish tenth in League One – will face Cambusdoon, who are certain to finish as the top eligible side in SWFL South.
Bishopton are certain to finish as the top eligible side in SWFL West and will face the winners of SWFL East at Stenhousemuir’s Ochilview stadium, with a noon kick-off.
At Davie Park in Blairgowrie, the winners of SWFL Central will face the winners of SWFL North at 1.30pm.
The winners of each of these three games will earn a place in the Barclays Scottish Women’s League One for season 2025/26, bringing that league up to its original quota of 12 teams.
