Substitute Lynn Biyendolo was at the double after the break, volleying home after Claire Hutton’s header was parried by Liya Brooks and finishing a cross from Avery Patterson.

New Zealand recovered from a penalty miss and going behind, to see off Venezuela 2-1. Katie Kitching could not convert from the spot, but Mariana Speckmaier did open the scoring. Milly Clegg levelled just before the break and Jacqui Hand got the winner after 73 minutes.
Delice Boboy and Rosa Ruckert each bagged a brace as Germany U-19s sent France to a 4-0 defeat.
