The Women’s Ballon d’Or award features 30 contenders, including England’s Alessia Russo and Alex Greenwood, as well as Scotland’s Caroline Weir.
The 2026 Ballon d’Or Féminin is packed with incredible talent from around the world, with the winner set to be revealed at a ceremony in London on October 26.
Aitana Bonmati has won the last three Ballon d’Or honors, but injury in the most recent campaign has kept her from making the shortlist.

Goalkeeper of the Year nominations are: Ann-Katrin Berger (Gotham FC/Germany), Cata Coll (Barcelona/Spain), Hannah Hampton (Chelsea/England), Lorena (Kansas City/Brazil), and Ayaka Yamashita (Manchester City/Japan).
The Women’s Coach of the Year nominees are Jonatan Giráldez (OL Lyon), Andrée Jeglertz (Manchester City), Nils Nielsen (Japan), Pere Romeu (Barcelona), and Elena Sadiku (Celtic/BK Häcken).
Contesting the Women’s Club of the Year are Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Club América (Mexico), Lyon, and Manchester City.
