Celtic Women drew at Glasgow City despite a first-half dismissal, while Rangers moved up to second spot in the ScottishPower SWPL.

Hearts 3-0 Partick Thistle
Glasgow City 1-1 Celtic
Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Celtic’s Chloe Craig was at the centre of the action, conceding a penalty, converting another, and getting sent off.

Lisa Forrest recovered from the first incident to see her effort saved by Adelaide Gay, and although Linda Motlhalo gave City the lead, Craig leveled from the spot following a handball decision.

With Forrest going through on goal and fouled again by Craig, a red card was shown.

Mebae Tanaka came closest to a winner for City but struck the post.

Rangers edged Hibernian 1-0 to move above Glasgow City into the Champions League places on goal difference with three games remaining.

Katie Wilkinson scored from the spot after the half-hour mark, following Scarlett Herron’s foul on Camille Lafaix.

Hearts added two second-half goals to an early strike as Partick Thistle were beaten 3-0, and the Midlothian side ended the midweek matches four points clear of both title rivals.

Jess Husband’s cross was backheeled by Carly Johns to give Jenna Slattery a tap-in after just seven minutes.

Joely Andrews doubled the lead straight after the interval when Georgia Timms’ cross was parried in her direction by goalkeeper Jeni Currie.

Georgia Hunter got the third before the hour mark, following up the save from an acrobatic attempt by Sade Adamolekun.
