Stockport Vikings Jaguars and Panthers women’s teams have signed a new sponsorship deal with Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet.
All match kits will sport the Broadstone Mill logo, as the teams compete in this season’s Manchester Women’s Flexi League.
Stockport Vikings FC is an England Football accredited 3-star football club with girls’ and boys’ teams ranging from the ages of seven to 18, a development section for five- and six-year-olds, Wildcats Section for 5- to 11-year-old girls, and both men’s and women’s open age teams.
In 2024, Stockport Vikings were awarded funding from Manchester FA, which enabled the club to launch dedicated women’s training sessions, leading to the creation of the first two women’s teams.
Shaun Wilkinson, Treasurer of Stockport Vikings, said: “Over the past few years we have focussed on the development of our girl’s football section and established girls’ teams from U7s right through to U16s. With the creation of the 2 women’s open age teams, we’re proud to have developed and extended a clear pathway for females wanting to enjoy football. The continued expansion of Stockport Vikings girls and women’s football section has been in part down to the sponsorship we have received from companies like Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet. We’re very grateful that they’re supporting our women’s teams.“

Lizzie Jordan, Operations Manager at Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet, said: “We are incredibly proud to support Stockport Vikings’ women’s teams and to be part of their journey as they continue to grow. As a family-run business with a predominantly female team, this partnership feels especially meaningful. We’re passionate about empowering women and supporting local initiatives that make a positive impact in our community. The dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm shown by the Jaguars and Panthers perfectly reflect the values we champion here at Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet.”
Caroline Fletcher, player for Jaguars and female development officer for Stockport Vikings, said: “We’re delighted Broadstone Mill are sponsoring the Jags and Panthers teams, it feels like the right partnership for our ladies and the club. It’s a pleasure watching the women develop as individual players, and the wider benefits we enjoy being part of a team. The players support for each other is brilliant to watch and be part of – we’re delighted to be in our second season.”
