Spain have taken top spot in the FIFA Coca Cola Womens World Ranking

Spain have taken top spot in the FIFA Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking from the USA, while England rise to fourth but Sweden jump three to third.

France move forward four places to sixth, Germany drop two to fifth and Brazil falling three to seventh.

Scotland slip one to 25th, Republic of Ireland two to 27th, Wales also down two to 32nd, while Northern Ireland stay 44th.

Bangladesh recorded the biggest jump in places (104th, up 24) and points (+80.51), after reaching the final qualifying tournament for Brazil 2027 World Cup.

Other big advances saw Vanuatu move up 19 to 100th and Solomon Islands up 13 to 73rd, with other new highs for the likes of Poland (26th) and Haiti (49th).
